About the Role
The Echo Technician, also known as a Cardiac Care Technician, plays an essential role in supporting cardiologists to diagnose and manage heart-related ailments. This professional ensures patients are properly prepared for examinations, and conducts various non-invasive diagnostic procedures including electrocardiograms (EKGs/ECGs) and stress tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in preparing patients for cardiac diagnostic exams.
- Conducting non-invasive heart diagnostic tests such as EKGs, ECGs, and stress testing.
- Operating sophisticated cardiac monitoring devices efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough records of patient data during procedures.
