About the Role
Join Bright Horizons Church Crookham Day Nursery and Pre School as an Early Years Housekeeper, where you play a vital role in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for children, colleagues, and families. Located in Church Crookham, Fleet, this position offers a salary ranging from £26,662 to £27,846 annually depending on your qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure cleanliness and safety throughout the nursery, particularly in children's bathrooms and nappy changing areas, maintaining high standards of hygiene during the day.
- Perform daily laundry tasks required for the smooth running of nursery operations.
- Assist with additional nursery duties such as supporting mealtimes and cleaning equipment when necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in cleaning within domestic or commercial settings is essential.
- Possession of Food Safety CIEH Level 2 certification (or equivalent) is required and must be achieved by the first day in the role.
- Good knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and Health and Safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
