Role Overview
KPMG New Zealand, a leading professional services firm offering audit, tax, and advisory services, is seeking a dedicated Early Careers Manager to join its People & Inclusion team based in Auckland. This role focuses on fostering connections between KPMG and emerging talent, overseeing early career recruitment initiatives that include graduates, interns, and junior hires nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of early career recruitment activities from attraction through to selection, providing expert guidance to hiring teams.
- Design and execute programs such as university open days, career expos, office tours, and networking events to engage prospective candidates.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop onboarding and induction experiences that facilitate smooth integration of early career hires.
- Utilize market insights, data, and trends to refine recruitment strategies, budgeting, and partnerships with educational institutions and student organizations.
- Work alongside the Branding team to advance employer branding campaigns targeting early career audiences.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with universities, student groups, and industry partners.
- Serve as an ambassador for KPMG’s values, promoting an inclusive and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Continuously explore improvements to recruitment systems, processes, and methodologies.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in delivering early career recruitment programs.
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Confident public speaker experienced in presenting at career events and expos.
- Skilled at fostering relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Committed to enhancing candidate experience, promoting inclusion, and embracing continuous improvement.
- Proficient with recruitment technologies and data-driven decision-making.
- Flexible to travel across New Zealand and work outside normal hours for event support.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is NZD 107,500 to NZD 145,000 annually, inclusive of employer KiwiSaver contributions. The final compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
