Role Overview
As a Duty Manager, you will assist the store leadership team in overseeing essential in-store operations to ensure efficient processes and high standards. Your responsibilities include supporting operational excellence, maintaining strong presentation standards, and overseeing the safe and accurate closure of the store at the end of trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate leadership through active involvement, working alongside team members to offer guidance, encourage collaboration, and drive high performance towards shared objectives.
- Exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions within your scope, consulting Department or Store Managers as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with the team to keep them informed, fostering a collaborative environment that values diverse perspectives and recognizes individual efforts.
- Maintain operational excellence by focusing on set goals, managing challenges, and ensuring tasks are completed successfully.
- Show resilience and adaptability by taking ownership of your actions, seeking feedback to meet standards, and suggesting innovative ideas.
