Job description

About the Role

DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in logistics with a diverse workforce spanning over 220 countries and 500,000 employees, is seeking a highly driven DPM & Business Metrics Program Manager to join its Global Performance Management team. This role is pivotal in advancing one of the core strategic initiatives supporting DHL's Strategy 2030. The position is temporary, extending through the end of Q2 2028, based in the EMEA/UKI region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Business Metrics (BM) and Operations Profile & Planning (OPP) reporting modules, managing their development roadmap, backlog, and enhancement priorities to ensure alignment with business requirements and global operations strategy.
  • Lead the governance process for Business Metrics, standardizing KPIs, defining metrics, establishing reporting rules, and ensuring harmonization across regions and functions.
  • Handle the entire lifecycle of new metrics, reporting needs, and system upgrades—from gathering business requirements through testing, launching, and fostering adoption.
  • Serve as the main liaison among regional Business Metrics leaders, Operations teams, Data & Analytics units, and IT delivery groups.
  • Facilitate international stakeholder meetings and working groups to prioritize system enhancements, share progress updates, resolve challenges, and achieve consensus on reporting demands.
  • Drive initiatives focused on improving data quality, consistency of reporting, and standardization of processes to bolster the trustworthiness and accuracy of global operational performance reports.
  • Support the advancement of DHL’s global performance management platform, specifically enhancing Power BI dashboard applications, coordinating onboarding, and gathering business input to improve decision-making capabilities.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to roll out new KPIs and management reports within the DPM Power BI suite.
  • Coordinate reporting upgrades by working closely with stakeholders, Data & Analytics specialists, and IT teams during requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and release phases.
  • Promote communication, training, onboarding, and change management efforts globally to boost the usage and effectiveness of DPM reporting tools.
  • Continuously improve reporting features and user experience by collecting feedback, sharing best practices, observing adoption trends, and identifying enhancement opportunities.
  • Contribute to innovation projects by exploring advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and data visualization solutions to enrich reporting and business decision-making.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project or program management with demonstrated success delivering projects on schedule, scope, and budget.
  • Proven skills in leading and coordinating virtual, cross-regional, cross-functional, and multicultural teams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influence capabilities, including experience working with senior leadership to align perspectives.
  • Strong abilities in communication, facilitation, and moderation that allow for managing complex dialogues and building consensus.
  • Experience in business transformation, performance management, or digitalization initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Agile and/or Scrum frameworks and experience working in collaborative, incremental project settings.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a talent for translating data into practical business insights.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills are advantageous.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

  • An understanding of cross-functional business processes, especially between Operations and Finance.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations sectors.
  • Basic familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence platforms.
