Role summary

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced Full Stack .NET professional to develop modern web applications with ASP.NET Core on the backend and Angular or React on the frontend. The role is based in Hyderabad and will be handled through a virtual hiring process. Azure experience is mandatory.

What you will do

• Build complete application features across API, business logic, data, and user interface layers using .NET 6/7/8, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and either Angular (v12+) or React (v18+) with TypeScript.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code, and support quality through unit and integration testing, peer review, and static code checks.
• Contribute to modern architecture patterns such as microservices and event-driven systems, while helping define API contracts, reusable components, and strong security and performance practices.
• Work with Entity Framework Core to design data access layers, handle migrations, and interact with SQL Server or PostgreSQL, as well as third-party REST and GraphQL integrations.
• Use CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, work with Docker, and support environment setup and deployment processes; basic Kubernetes exposure is preferred.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies by refining stories, estimating work, planning sprints, and presenting completed work; also mentor junior and mid-level engineers and coordinate closely with QA on test strategy.
• Collaborate with product, design, and platform stakeholders to convert business needs into technical plans and dependable releases.

Required skills and experience

• Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, dependency injection, middleware, and configuration handling.
• Working knowledge of Entity Framework Core, including LINQ and migrations.
• Good command of SQL, including query writing, indexing, and tuning.
• Understanding of secure development practices, including authentication, authorization, and secrets handling.
• Experience with one primary frontend framework: Angular with TypeScript, RxJS, CLI, routing, forms, and modular design, or React with TypeScript, hooks, routing, state management, and component-based development.
• Familiarity with state management approaches such as NgRx, Akita, Redux, RTK, or Recoil.
• Awareness of security standards and protocols such as OWASP, OAuth2/OIDC, and JWT.
• Exposure to collaborative Agile delivery and cross-functional teamwork.
