Responsibilities

The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring all glassware, tableware, utensils, pots, and pans are cleaned and sanitized efficiently using both manual and machine techniques. Additionally, keeping the dish area tidy and sanitized is a key duty.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dish room and workspace.
• Wash dishes and operate dishwashing machinery effectively.
• Adhere strictly to safety and sanitation protocols.
• Dispose of trash by emptying bins as necessary.
• Communicate courteously and professionally with fellow team members and frontline staff.

Education and Certifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Completion of a food safety certification or food handlers' card may be mandatory in certain states prior to serving food or alcohol.

Physical Requirements

• Capability to bend and reach frequently during work shifts.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds, including dish racks and trash containers.

• Perform twisting or circular body motions as needed.
• Tolerate working conditions involving exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud noises.
