Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic Director of Business Intelligence to spearhead Cint’s data transformation initiatives. This role is pivotal in equipping the global workforce with advanced tools and timely analytics that enhance platform efficiency, business tactics, and operational workflows. The goal is to evolve from basic reporting to intelligent automation, AI-powered insights, and meaningful strategic growth by developing a scalable self-service analytics environment for all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a business intelligence strategy that fosters a proactive, data-driven culture focusing on swift and effective business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership in Finance, Sales, Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, Marketing, and Product to ensure BI initiatives support global objectives.
- Establish and standardize enterprise-wide KPIs and visualize them through executive dashboards to enable transparent performance tracking and accountability.
- Drive the optimization of a modern cloud data infrastructure to ensure robust query performance, scalability, cost effectiveness, and reliability.
- Create unified enterprise data models to eliminate silos and maintain a single trusted data source across the organization.
- Oversee data cataloging, quality assurance, governance protocols, and ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations worldwide.
- Implement rigorous standards for data quality, observation, and reliability to maintain high trust in analytical outputs.
- Manage vendor partnerships and the BI budget, focusing on total cost of ownership and computational efficiency, especially related to Databricks.
- Ensure timely month-end data delivery while automating workflows to increase operational efficiency.
- Lead the adoption of AI and advanced analytics to automate insight generation, improve forecasting accuracy, and provide proactive business advice.
- Guide the migration to state-of-the-art BI tools to empower employees with self-service data exploration under standardized governance.
- Head organizational change and educational programs to foster data literacy and promote broad adoption of self-service analytics.
- Mentor and manage a global group of engineers and analysts, facilitating a shift from manual data work to innovative strategic contributions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience managing remote, distributed teams through change, platform updates, and tool transitions, while promoting collaboration and innovation.
- Demonstrated success overseeing international business intelligence operations within technology firms.
- Strong technical knowledge of modern data platforms, with explicit experience using Databricks.
- Skilled in translating complex data engineering concepts into clear business impact narratives for senior non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with teams across different geographies and time zones.
- A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science, or equivalent industry experience.
