Key Responsibilities
- Provide support that encourages growth, learning, and overall well-being for those served.
- Establish genuine and meaningful relationships with individuals receiving services.
- Operate with autonomy and trust to advocate for the best interests of participants.
- Facilitate community involvement and assist participants in enjoying preferred activities.
- Help individuals achieve developmental goals such as budgeting, fitness, and healthy eating habits.
- Assist with personal hygiene and support participants who may present behavioral or complex needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a High School Diploma or an equivalent credential.
- Preference for candidates with a minimum of six months’ experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, the ability to handle multiple tasks, teamwork spirit, and effective time management.
- Personal qualities including patience, compassion, reliability, and responsibility.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, access to a registered vehicle, and proof of insurance.
