Role Overview

The Digital UX Designer will play a fundamental role in defining the future digital experience for NGS members and employers. This position supports the digital transformation initiatives, including the deployment of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Journey Optimiser (AJO), by creating user-centered, accessible, and cohesive designs for web and email platforms. Collaborating closely with marketing and technical teams, the designer will translate requirements into effective UX solutions aligned with business objectives and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Craft intuitive, accessible digital experiences across web, email, and member interaction journeys to increase engagement and prompt action.
• Develop user-focused designs that clarify complex financial information, facilitating member understanding of their financial outlook.
• Design personalized experiences and customer journeys utilizing AEM and AJO platforms.
• Create deliverables including wireframes, user flows, component specifications, prototypes, and polished designs ready for development.
• Participate in designing comprehensive member and employer digital journey touchpoints.
• Establish reusable layouts, UI components and interaction patterns to ensure scalable and consistent experiences.
• Implement UX best practices and adhere to accessibility standards for clear, inclusive, and user-friendly designs.
• Collaborate with developers and agencies to maintain fidelity in design implementation.
• Contribute to design system documentation, standards, and template creation to support consistency and reuse over time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant academic credentials in UX/UI Design, Digital Design, Graphic Design, or related disciplines.
• Proven background in UX, digital, or product design, with experience in responsive and mobile-first frameworks.
• Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, human-centered design, and accessibility standards.
• Skilled in developing wireframes, user flows, component libraries, prototypes, and high-fidelity design assets.
• Expert use of Figma and modern UX design tools.
• Experience working with content management systems and templated digital environments.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML and CSS to facilitate smooth design handover and execution.
• Strong communication abilities with capability to articulate design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience utilizing AI and automation tools to enhance workflows and delivery.

Additional Advantages
