Programme Overview
Join Westpac New Zealand's dynamic Digital Graduate Programme based in Auckland, designed to immerse you in digital innovation and customer-centred design. Launching in February 2027, this 10-12 month permanent role delivers comprehensive exposure across product management, customer experience, technology, data analytics, and digital delivery. As a graduate, you'll gain valuable insights, build networks with leaders and teams, and receive guidance towards a suitable role aligned with your skills and interests at the programme's conclusion.
Programme Experience
- Structured training sessions to enhance both technical and interpersonal skills.
- Personal mentoring and coaching from Digital leaders to support your development.
- Collaboration across various teams within Westpac, including product, data, and technology.

Daily Activities
- Contributing to the enhancement of digital banking experiences used by thousands of New Zealand customers.
- Partnering with diverse professionals such as Product Managers, Analysts, Designers, and Technology teams to design, test, and deploy new digital products and features.
- Applying customer data and insights to identify challenges and devise solutions for improved outcomes.
- Engaging with emerging technologies like AI, automation, and open banking to revolutionize banking experiences.
- Receiving mentorship through assigned buddies and coaches to support career planning and development.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should be in their final year or have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree within the last 12 months. Citizenship or permanent residency in New Zealand or Australia is required. Suitable educational backgrounds include Business, Commerce, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Design, or related fields where problem-solving, innovation, and curiosity have been demonstrated.
