Job Purpose
This role involves overseeing operations within departments related to dietetics, ensuring the implementation of standards and protocols for smooth functioning, and enhancing patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce operational standards and protocols across designated departments to support optimal performance.
- Maintain high levels of patient satisfaction through oversight and improvement across all functional areas.
- Conduct daily rounds to monitor departmental activities and staff compliance.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels in all relevant departments are maintained at all times.
- Identify systemic gaps and promptly develop effective solutions to address them efficiently.
- Develop a robust feedback mechanism capturing input from both internal team members and external clients.
- Handle complaints and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure strict adherence to room cohorting protocols within the hospital.
- Uphold grooming and professional standards among all staff members.
- Collaborate across departments to facilitate the seamless execution of processes and operations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate degree with a minimum first division in 10th, 12th, and Graduation; qualification in MHA or MBA preferred.
- 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience in operations management.
- Knowledge of current professional and technical developments in healthcare operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient and staff interactions.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
