Overview
The Development Operations Coordinator is a pivotal role supporting the infrastructure behind World Central Kitchen's fundraising activities. This position, embedded in the Development Operations team, enhances internal workflows, documentation practices, and administrative methods to enable Development teams to work effectively, precisely, and in line with organizational policies. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent project management, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive mindset towards managing operational duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor various operational tasks to guarantee adherence to deadlines and completion of deliverables within the Development Operations team.
- Create, revise, and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and clear Development team processes.
- Assist the Director of Development Operations in managing projects, tracking tasks, and facilitating inter-team communications.
- Handle administrative procedures related to legacy gifts, encompassing document management, communication coordination, and processing requirements.
- Support administrative functions concerning donor contributions, contracts, agreements, and approval workflows.
- Maintain orderly files, templates, and documents for use across the Development Operations team.
- Manage Asana project tasks including setting up, updating, reminding, and monitoring timelines.
- Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate on improvements to optimize operational workflows.
- Learn and utilize internal systems such as Salesforce and project management tools to improve routine functions.
- Contribute to donor stewardship initiatives like quarterly reports, personalized outreach, presentation preparation, and support for activation events such as First Alerts.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in development operations, fundraising support, or comparable nonprofit administrative roles.
- Experience effectively using CRM platforms, with Salesforce NPSP highly preferred.
- Strong project management skills including the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and ensure consistent follow-through.
- Ability to professionally engage with donors, volunteers, and stakeholders in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
- Self-driven, capable of independent work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Quick to adopt new technologies; familiarity with Asana, Salesforce, or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or Apple software.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation
The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $27 to $28.
