Job description
Role Overview
The Development & Enablement Chief will oversee AGFUND's strategic partnerships, development projects, management of grants and financing portfolios, advisory services, along with leading capacity-building programs. The primary focus is to enhance the developmental impact of the organization's initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree is required in fields such as Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, International Relations, Management or related disciplines.
- Holding a master's degree and professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CFA, FRM, or similar credentials is preferred.
- At least 16 years of relevant experience is mandatory, with 8 to 10 years in senior leadership roles.
General Skills and Competencies
- Exemplary strategic leadership abilities along with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proven aptitude for managing stakeholders effectively and leading high-caliber teams, especially in complex institutional environments.
- Preferred background includes prior work experience with developmental organizations, financial entities, government agencies, or international institutions.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, both spoken and written, is essential.
