Design Production Assistant

About the Role

Join Sneaky Link, an exciting in-house label under Girls with Gems, as a Design Production Assistant. This role demands active involvement in the product development journey from design inception through to manufacturing. Collaborate closely with both design and production teams ensuring new collection launches meet Sneaky Link’s established quality and fit benchmarks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end product development, from initial concepts through to final production.
• Create and revise technical packs, specification sheets, and detailed product documents.
• Coordinate the management of samples, fittings, and approvals to ensure smooth workflow.
• Serve as a communication bridge with both local and international manufacturers and suppliers.
• Assist in managing production deadlines and critical path schedules.
• Maintain an organized sample/design room, overseeing fabrics, trims, and other development materials.
• Contribute to quality control checks throughout the development phases.
• Attend garment fittings and assist in refining product fits.
• Provide administrative support to design and production departments.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience or relevant qualifications in fashion design, production, or product development are essential.
• Exceptional organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with effective time management.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office software suites.
• Self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
• A passionate interest in fashion and the process of product creation.
• Comfortable participating actively in garment fitting sessions as part of the development cycle.
