Position Overview
We are actively seeking motivated Dental Assistants for both part-time and full-time roles offering competitive pay ranging from $22 to $26 per hour. Join our dynamic dental team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to senior patients directly within their living communities through our mobile dental services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support dentists during various dental procedures ensuring smooth operation.
- Prepare patients appropriately for their dental treatments.
- Ready the dental instruments and equipment necessary for procedures.
- Adhere strictly to sterilization and safety protocols during all dental activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all dental tools post-use.
- Manage transportation of equipment and supplies between clinic locations.
Additional Role Details
Our mobile dental practice caters specifically to senior care facilities, bringing quality dental and hygiene care onsite. Your day will begin as early as 8:00 AM at our storage office where you will load and transport equipment to patient sites. Typical shifts last 8 to 10 hours during weekdays, concluding with equipment sterilization at our base. Mileage and toll expenses will be reimbursed.
Requirements
- Current valid x-ray certification.
- Minimum two years of experience as a dental assistant.
- Enthusiasm for working with elderly patients; experience in geriatric dental care is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to transport equipment in your own vehicle; a four-door sedan suffices although SUVs or crossovers are preferred.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Shifts of 8 or 10 hours
Compensation and Employment Type
Positions available include full-time and part-time options with hourly wage between $22 and $26, depending on experience and hours.
