Delivery Driver

Overview

Domino's is currently seeking capable Delivery Drivers to join our rapidly expanding store teams. We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate varying commitments, whether you want this as your main role, a part-time job, or a supplemental source of income. Drivers earn a competitive hourly wage ranging approximately between $12 and $17 per hour along with daily payouts for mileage and tips. Primary Duties

• Safely operate all equipment adhering to established operating procedures.
• Stock ingredients delivered into production and refrigerated storage areas.
• Prepare and assist in product preparation.
• Manage incoming telephone orders efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and store daily.

Training

Comprehensive on-the-job training and orientation are provided.

Communication Requirements

• Capability to understand and follow written instructions accurately.
• Effective verbal communication skills with customers and colleagues for order processing in-person and over the phone.

Essential Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations and quick, precise monetary calculations.
• Good manual dexterity with hand-eye coordination to perform tasks swiftly and accurately.
• Computer skills necessary for inputting orders via keyboard or touchscreen devices.
• Strong navigation skills to locate addresses within delivery zones, including handling deliveries to multi-story buildings and other complex sites while carrying products.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record meeting company criteria.
• Access to a properly insured vehicle for deliveries, including required Personal Injury Protection and Bodily Injury coverage.
• Demonstrated customer service capabilities.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Exposure to varied and occasionally harsh weather conditions during outdoor tasks like trash removal.
• Temperature fluctuations from as low as 36°F in refrigeration areas to above 90°F in some work zones.
• Exposure to food fumes and cornmeal dust.
• Working in confined spaces such as walk-in coolers.
• Contact with hot equipment surfaces, mechanical parts, and sharp edges.
• Tasks primarily performed while standing; walking short distances on tiled and linoleum surfaces.
• Sitting required for paperwork and while driving during deliveries.
• Lifting cases up to 50 pounds and transporting various items including pizza trays.
• Physical demands including pushing/pulling dollies, climbing stairs occasionally, bending, crouching, and continuous reaching.
• Essential hand tasks involve grasping tools and materials, shaping dough, and handling order preparation tools.
