About the Role

Join NZ Post as a Delivery Agent on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Pukekohe. This part-time role offers a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 4:25 PM. As a key representative of NZ Post, you'll help connect New Zealand communities by delivering mail and parcels with enthusiasm and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and process mail at the Pukekohe Operations Centre before heading out on your delivery route.
• Deliver letters and parcels independently using a Paxter cart, regardless of weather conditions.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction through your interactions.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures to protect yourself and your colleagues.

Requirements

• Availability to work the specified shifts.
• Own reliable transport to commute punctually to work.
• Hold a clean Restricted New Zealand Drivers License.
• Be physically fit to spend the entire shift outdoors.
• Possess strong literacy and numeracy skills to accurately handle addressing details.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and reliability in performing duties.

Additional Information

• Hourly rate of $27.86, paid fortnightly.
• Applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Employment is conditional on a satisfactory drug test and background security check.
