Role Overview
This on-site position in Riyadh calls for a full-time Data Scientist who will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop data-centric solutions supporting government platforms and digital public services. Key duties include gathering, cleaning, and modeling datasets, conducting exploratory and statistical analyses, and devising predictive and machine learning models to solve complex policy and business challenges. The role also involves generating dashboards and visual representations to effectively convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. The Data Scientist is responsible for documenting analytic procedures, communicating actionable results, contributing to the enhancement of data workflows, engaging in AI initiatives, and ensuring all implementations comply with regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in data science and analytics for modeling, insight extraction, and addressing intricate analytical issues.
- Practical experience in statistical methods and data analysis including hypothesis testing, experimental design, and quantitative assessments.
- Skillful in data visualization tools to build clear dashboards and reports that highlight trends and performance metrics.
- Strong programming abilities in Python or R, along with experience using databases and libraries like SQL, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or equivalents.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning lifecycle processes including feature engineering, model evaluation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude, meticulous attention to details, and capable of explaining complex ideas to varied stakeholders.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or closely related disciplines; experience within government sectors or regulated industries is a plus.
