About the Team

Our Data Science and Analytics group collaborates with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business units to deliver insightful data analyses that guide strategic choices and enhance customer satisfaction. The team is involved throughout the product journey—from spotting opportunities and shaping strategies to designing experiments, assessing results, and communicating insights to stakeholders. We prioritize continuous innovation, teamwork, and ongoing learning, enabling partners to make well-informed decisions based on high-quality analytics and storytelling.

Role Overview

We seek a seasoned Product Analytics professional to help build and refine a top-tier advertising platform targeting sellers. This role entails leveraging data to better understand seller behavior, measure product outcomes, and pinpoint growth possibilities. You will engage closely with cross-functional teams to assess product initiatives, conduct behavioral research, and generate insights to enhance the advertising ecosystem’s effectiveness. The position also provides exposure to machine learning-powered products and collaboration with teams developing advanced optimization models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other teams to develop and improve advertising solutions for sellers.
  • Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to assess product performance and inform decisions.
  • Work with product managers to formulate hypotheses, define success metrics, and quantify business impact.
  • Analyze extensive and complex datasets to reveal customer trends, behaviors, and new growth avenues.
  • Convert raw data into actionable insights using rigorous analysis, documented findings, and data governance standards.
  • Communicate results and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders including senior leadership.
  • Enhance analytics best practices by mentoring colleagues and advancing tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics capabilities organization-wide.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Product Analytics, Data Science, or related analytics roles supporting digital products.
  • Strong analytical and statistical expertise, particularly in designing and interpreting product experiments.
  • Skillful in handling large datasets and translating complex analyses into straightforward business recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams throughout product development cycles.
  • Knowledge of experimentation frameworks, behavioral analytics, and metrics for tracking product performance.
  • Experience in advertising platforms, marketplace ecosystems, or machine learning-based products is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication abilities to articulate technical topics to varied audiences.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for solving complex business and customer issues using data within a collaborative setting.
