Role Overview
We are partnering with a client to find a contract-based Data Scientist specializing in machine learning. This opportunity involves creating and implementing ML models to enhance predictive outcomes across various client datasets. The candidate will work remotely and engage with interdisciplinary teams to develop data-centered solutions and automate processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and fine-tune machine learning models for tasks including classification, regression, and clustering.
- Process and scrutinize extensive structured and unstructured data to derive meaningful insights.
- Build and manage MLOps workflows for deploying, monitoring, and updating models.
- Create and maintain reproducible experiments using Python, Jupyter notebooks, and version control tools.
- Communicate results and suggestions effectively to stakeholders through well-constructed visualizations and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Competent in SQL for data querying, transformation, and analysis.
- Knowledgeable in statistical modeling and experimental methodologies.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying machine learning models.
- Capable of working autonomously in a remote work setting with limited oversight.
