Role Overview

We are recruiting a Financial Data Privacy Analyst on a contract basis to work remotely from any location. The position entails evaluating financial data processing activities to identify privacy risks and ensure adherence to applicable regulations and frameworks in the financial sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate significant experience in data protection laws and financial regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform privacy impact assessments related to financial data processing functions.
Audit and document data flows within systems managing sensitive financial information.
Detect compliance deficiencies with financial privacy regulations and propose corrective measures.
Work closely with legal and security teams to establish and enforce privacy controls for financial processes.
Track and analyze updates in privacy regulations and their implications on current privacy policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in financial data privacy or regulatory compliance in data protection.
In-depth knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data privacy laws.
Familiarity with standards and operational practices within the financial services industry is advantageous.
Ability to dissect complex data processing frameworks to identify risks related to privacy.
