We are recruiting a Data Analyst Assistant to support a vital project for a major infrastructure consultancy in Manchester. This role involves organizing, cleaning, and verifying large volumes of technical data as we transition it from fragmented legacy systems into a cohesive and stable database system. The focus is on ensuring data accuracy and usability for the client’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit and verify data for consistencies during the migration process.
• Compare legacy records against new entries, identify duplicates, and map data for accurate integration.
• Prepare data sets for import into new databases and validate data integrity after migration.
• Coordinate remotely with senior developers and participate in regular video check-ins to report progress and issues.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong organizational skills and a natural inclination toward cleaning up disorganized information.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets beyond basic data entry, including use of formulas and sorting large data sets.
• Attention to detail to detect anomalies such as incorrect date formats or misplaced records.
• Effective written communication skills essential for remote collaboration.
• Ability to consistently follow processes and maintain focus on repetitive tasks.
• Logical problem-solving skills for troubleshooting data import issues.
• Self-motivated and reliable, capable of managing your schedule independently while working remotely.

Desirable Experience
