Role Overview
The Custodian plays a crucial role in ensuring a sanitary, secure, and inviting atmosphere for all members, staff, and visitors at Fit Fusion fitness club.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning and sanitizing routines of gym equipment, locker rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces.
- Preserve cleanliness in the immediate outdoor vicinity of the fitness center.
- Manage inventory and restock cleaning agents and personal care products.
- Adhere to and complete daily detailed checklists established by management.
- Provide courteous assistance and support to members and visitors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong organizational skills alongside effective time management.
- Mandatory CPR/AED certification, to be acquired within 30 days if not already held.
Physical Demands
- Capability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform prolonged standing, walking, bending, crouching, and reaching activities.
