Role overview
We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join a rapidly expanding fintech business in Abu Dhabi. This position will play a key part in evaluating credit risk, supporting lending decisions, and tracking portfolio health, while staying aligned with commercial objectives and UAE regulatory expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Review the credit strength of SME borrowers by analyzing financial statements, bank records, and credit bureau information.
- Carry out in-depth credit and risk assessments and prepare detailed credit appraisal documentation.
- Suggest appropriate credit limits, pricing structures, and measures to reduce risk exposure.
- Track portfolio performance and flag early indicators of possible repayment or credit issues.
- Work closely with underwriting, sales, and risk stakeholders to assist with lending decisions.
- Make sure all activities follow internal credit standards as well as UAE regulatory requirements.
- Assist with periodic reviews, renewals, and restructuring of credit facilities.
Required profile
- 4 to 5 years of experience in a Credit Analyst, Risk Analyst, or comparable role.
- Prior exposure to FinTech, NBFC, banking, or broader financial services is essential.
- Solid knowledge of credit risk evaluation, lending products, and financial statement analysis.
- Experience managing SME, retail, or digital lending portfolios.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and credit assessment tools.
- Familiarity with UAE credit bureaus and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
- Well-developed analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
Compensation and benefits
- Monthly salary of AED 10,000 to AED 12,000.

Additional information
This opening is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and is intended for a full-time, on-site hire. The compensation package includes a base salary plus performance incentives.
