Job Overview

Swiss Castle Bakery is seeking a Counter Salesperson for its bakery outlets located in Hyderabad. This role revolves around providing attentive and courteous customer service while handling sales transactions and maintaining the bakery counter.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and offer exceptional customer service assistance.
• Engage with customers at the sales counter to understand their needs and preferences.
• Describe bakery items and their prices clearly to customers.
• Process customer orders precisely, ensuring prompt and proper packaging and delivery.
• Manage payments through cash, card, UPI, and other accepted modes efficiently.
• Issue bills and receipts accurately to customers.
• Keep the sales counter and display area clean and hygienic.
• Arrange bakery products in an organized and visually appealing manner within display counters.
• Verify the freshness, quality, expiration dates, and display timing of products.
• Adhere to the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method when selling products.
• Track stock levels and communicate low inventory items to supervisors timely.
• Ensure cakes, pastries, bread, snacks, and other bakery products are handled and packed correctly.
• Market new bakery products, special promotions, combo deals, and seasonal items to customers.
• Maintain precise records of sales, waste, and damaged items.
• Address customer complaints with politeness and professionalism.
• Maintain appropriate personal appearance, uniform standards, and hygiene.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene protocols when managing food items.
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures of the bakery outlet.
