Job Overview
The Control and Tracking Officer will oversee real-time fleet operations, ensuring the smooth execution of transportation trips, adhering to approved routes, maintaining clear visibility of trucks, and promptly addressing any operational issues to guarantee safe and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate trip schedules using the SAP-TMS system.
- Monitor fleet to confirm trucks adhere to designated routes.
- Assist in human resources recommendations related to fleet operations.
- Create E-call up (ETO) tickets to facilitate driver access at ports.
- Compile and prepare comprehensive fleet status reports.
- Monitor and manage highway breakdown incidents.
- Track trucks that overstay in various locations, including customers, transit points, and law enforcement areas.
- Detect and report instances of illegal haulage and route diversions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in computer science or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a relevant industry.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and report-writing abilities, including presentation skills.
