About the Role
Venus Star Construction Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and meticulous Contract Manager to be based at their Head Office in Patna. This role requires a professional with a strong background in contract administration, procurement, vendor coordination, and project management within the construction or infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation capabilities, comprehensive knowledge of contractual frameworks, and the aptitude to oversee complicated agreements while reducing business risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, evaluate, negotiate, and administer contracts with vendors, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
- Manage all agreements related to procurement and project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, organizational policies, and legal standards.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, project, finance, and legal teams for the full contract life cycle.
- Track contract execution, deadlines, deliverables, and commercial conditions.
- Detect contractual risks and propose risk mitigation approaches.
- Handle contractual conflicts and assist in claims management as necessary.
- Keep detailed documentation and maintain contract records for auditing and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- In-depth understanding of contract management, procurement workflows, and commercial contractual terms.
- Exceptional skills in drafting, negotiation, and communication.
- Capability to interpret complex technical and legal contract documents.
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
- Experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure industries preferred.
- Minimum education: Bachelor of Technology (Civil Engineering preferred).
Compensation
Offered salary ranges between 8,00,000 to 12,00,000 INR annually.
