Role Overview

The Content Producer is responsible for developing and delivering captivating digital content that enhances SS&E brands and engages audiences on various platforms. This role involves planning, shooting, editing, and distributing photo and video stories while collaborating internally to promote organizational goals and live event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture, edit, and produce dynamic narratives for franchise platforms.
• Customize and optimize content based on the unique features of platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube Shorts, Reels, and Broadcast to maximize fan engagement.
• Support colleagues through content review and feedback; escalate concerns to the Director when necessary.
• Help distribute approved content to the proper channel managers.
• Participate actively in brainstorming sessions, pitching ideas, and experimenting with new trends and content opportunities.
• Collaborate with diverse internal departments, clients, fans, and external partners while acting as a supportive teammate.
• Manage and prioritize a varied workload independently in a fast-moving sports environment.
• Champion organizational standards, processes, and best practices within the Content Team.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a bachelor’s degree or relevant technical degree with at least 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Highly skilled in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Equipped with a proven editing portfolio demonstrating strong video production capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience operating professional cinema cameras such as RED and Sony FX series.
• Preferred experience producing branded content specifically for sports organizations.
• Willingness to travel as business needs require.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to sit in tight or unconventional spaces such as basketball courts or sideline areas; walk briskly and climb stairs in arenas; and carry out tasks in fast-paced game environments.
• Constant manual dexterity needed for computer keyboard use during editing tasks.
• Occasional gear loading and transportation from location to shoot venues.
• Physical requirements may vary seasonally depending on unique production needs.
