Role Overview

This position is for an experienced Consumer Insights Manager who will own consumer research, market intelligence, and behavioral analysis work. Key Responsibilities

  • Create and run consumer insights plans that support business goals, brand expansion, customer experience improvement, and commercial priorities.
  • Build and oversee both qualitative and quantitative research programs such as surveys, focus groups, interviews, ethnographic studies, online communities, and behavioral analysis.
  • Partner with marketing, product, sales, customer experience, strategy, finance, research, and senior leadership to support product, brand, campaign, and growth initiatives.
  • Examine consumer behavior, buying patterns, market movements, customer journeys, segmentation, and competitor activity to uncover opportunities and potential risks.
  • Track metrics such as customer satisfaction, NPS, brand awareness, market share, retention, campaign performance, engagement, and purchase intent.
  • Develop personas, segmentation models, journey maps, and behavioral frameworks that improve targeting and product strategy.
  • Convert research outcomes into clear recommendations using executive decks, dashboards, reports, and narrative storytelling for decision-makers.
  • Manage external agencies, panel partners, data suppliers, and analytics vendors while maintaining quality, budget discipline, and timely delivery.
  • Use consumer research tools, CRM platforms, survey systems, Microsoft Office, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, SQL, and other BI solutions to support analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with privacy laws, ethical research practices, internal policies, and consumer data governance standards.
  • Prepare insight reports, leadership dashboards, market forecasts, trend reviews, and strategic guidance for senior stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor analysts, researchers, and cross-functional teams while encouraging curiosity, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Market Research, Psychology, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
  • A Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent, along with certifications in Market Research, Consumer Behavior, Business Analytics, or Data Science, is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, customer analytics, business intelligence, marketing analytics, or similar work.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading research programs, insights teams, or strategic analytics efforts preferred.
  • Strong command of qualitative and quantitative research methods, consumer behavior, segmentation, statistical analysis, journey mapping, and behavioral analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with survey platforms, CRM systems, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, SQL, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, and BI tools.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics, AI-based consumer insights, social listening tools, CDPs, digital marketing analytics, and visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical ability, research discipline, strategic thinking, organization, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
