Job Location and Flexibility

Opportunities available in multiple Australian cities including Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Barton, Melbourne, and Perth, as well as Wellington and Auckland. Location flexibility within the country is supported, but the position requires onsite presence.

Role Purpose

The Consulting Manager role involves leading consulting projects by coordinating multiple workstreams and diverse teams to achieve impactful and high-quality results. The manager translates ambiguous instructions into clear action plans, defines roles and deliverables, maintains quality control, and builds client trust. Alongside managing delivery, the manager also focuses on coaching and developing team members, sustaining consistent standards, managing project outcomes, and contributing to early business development efforts.

The Senior Manager position leads extensive transformation programs and complex consulting engagements. This involves aligning strategies with business objectives, converting intricate challenges into measurable results, overseeing multiple workstreams, managing quality and pace, and maintaining stakeholder alignment. Senior Managers act as trusted advisors to senior clients and drive growth by identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of small to medium engagements, integrating multiple workstreams for unified outcomes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing scope, quality, schedules, budgets, risks, and delivery expectations.
• Develop clear and executable delivery plans that translate strategic directions into actionable steps.
• Contribute to proposal development by shaping solutions and owning specific sections.
• Identify opportunities to expand engagement scopes.
• Promote standardization and scalability by creating reusable assets, delivery methods, and enhancing team capabilities.
• Apply structured delivery frameworks and commercial insights to bridge technical and business decision-making.
• Lead multiple projects or large programs, managing teams and aligning workstreams across complex initiatives (Senior Manager level).
• Establish and nurture long-term client relationships, driving customer satisfaction.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
• Support strategic consulting practice development and contribute to proposals and solution designs.
• Mentor junior team members and build capability within the consulting practice.
• Make informed decisions regarding project scope, quality, pacing, and stakeholder alignment to balance trade-offs and ensure outcomes reflect business value.
