About the Role

This position is offered for a client collaborating with a cutting-edge AI research initiative focused on enhancing AI systems' capabilities in high-level consulting and strategic decision-making. We are searching for seasoned consulting professionals to develop, assess, and refine business deliverables of expert quality, comparable to those produced by premier consulting and advisory firms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review superior consulting reports covering areas such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investment analysis including EBITDA normalization, valuation, acquisition financing, covenant and sensitivity analyses, and investment advice.
• Plan post-merger integration initiatives including synergy capture, creation of operating models, integration timelines, and evaluating financial impacts.
• Provide corporate strategy guidance, suggest operational enhancements, and propose business transformation strategies reinforced by quantitative data analysis.
• Interpret complex and sometimes conflicting data from various sources including due diligence reports, financial models, stakeholder feedback, market research, and business documents to formulate grounded conclusions.
• Create polished client deliverables such as presentations, strategic memoranda, financial models, and executive summaries that clearly articulate assumptions, potential risks, recommendations, and implementation considerations.
• Critically assess consulting deliverables for analytical soundness, business insight, clarity, and overall excellence.
• Offer structured and constructive feedback to enhance realism, consistency, and decision-support value of business consulting output.
• Utilize professional consulting techniques to ensure recommendations are practical, evidence-based, and aligned with client objectives.

Candidate Requirements

• At least four years of experience in management consulting, transaction advisory, corporate strategy, corporate development, or related advisory capacities.
• Experience working with top consulting or advisory firms (e.g., strategy consultancies, transaction services, corporate strategy groups, post-merger integration teams, or boutique advisory practices) or equivalent roles in corporate development departments.
• Proficiency in structured problem solving, detailed business analysis, and strategic executive-level decision formulation.
• Advanced expertise in financial modeling including valuation, leveraged buyout (LBO) analysis, integrated three-statement models, pro forma financials, and scenario testing.
• Capacity to independently execute complex business analyses and produce defensible strategic recommendations.
• Excellent written communication skills demonstrated in creation of executive presentations, comprehensive reports, and client-facing documents.
• Strong analytical abilities combined with meticulous attention to detail and aptitude for distilling complex data into lucid business intelligence.

Engagement Details

• This is a fully remote independent contractor role offering flexible work hours.
• Project durations may vary—contracts can be extended, shortened, or ended depending on business needs and individual performance.
• Compensation is $95 per hour, with weekly payments processed through Stripe or Wise for completed tasks.
