Role Overview
We seek a Cluster Sales Executive to join our Commercial Team in Wellington, New Zealand. This role focuses on supporting sales performance across a portfolio of hotels by managing business-to-business sales activities. Reporting to the Cluster Director of Sales, the position suits individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy working with data and technology, and take pride in delivering outstanding sales service and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the corporate sales lifecycle ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate corporate account Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) processes across multiple hotels.
- Develop sales presentations, proposals, and business development materials.
- Assist with onboarding new corporate clients and testing distribution channels.
- Maintain accurate client data and communication records within the Accor CRM system (ANAIS).
- Prepare comprehensive proposals for groups, meetings, and events with timely and precise responses.
- Support B2B marketing activities including events, hospitality initiatives, and RSVP management.
- Provide detailed reporting, sales insights, and analysis to aid business development strategy.
- Collaborate with Revenue teams to analyze account and market opportunities using CRM and Property Management System (PMS) data.
- Engage in prospecting activities including cold calling to develop new business leads.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an organized multitasker with excellent time management and attention to detail. They should enjoy working with data, systems, and stakeholders while communicating professionally at all levels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Approximately three years of relevant experience in hotel sales, hospitality, tourism, or a similar commercial sector.
- Preferred qualification in Tourism, Business, Hospitality, or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM software and business reporting tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, self-driven working style.
