Role purpose
This position is focused on generating insurance business through a designated relationship or channel partner within a defined geography. The objective is to build the partner’s confidence so they can in turn recommend Birla Sun Life Insurance products to their customers. The role also requires end-to-end pre-sales and post-sales assistance for both the partner and clients, supported by a dedicated team, while driving steady quarter-on-quarter business growth.
Key challenges
- Business performance may be affected by market swings, especially since the company primarily sells unit-linked insurance policies.
- The role depends heavily on the HDFC branch banking model in an open-architecture setup, where the channel partner may have competing priorities, making alignment essential.
