Position Overview

ICON is recruiting Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) across most major U.S. markets. These are home-based roles requiring some on-site monitoring experience. Current openings target CRA II and Senior CRA levels, within Functional Service Provider (FSP) dedicated teams working with leading pharmaceutical and biotech clients. The roles are full-time permanent positions offering competitive salaries and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical study site activities to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), standard operating procedures, and study protocols.
• Review regulatory documentation as necessary and prepare detailed site visit reports.
• Manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively within team settings.
• Engage in study phases including development, start-up, and close-out by reviewing protocols, preparing informed consent forms, and developing key study documents.
• Organize and present at investigator meetings and contribute to monitoring strategy discussions with management.
• Undertake ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in clinical research.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prefer candidates with a BS/BA degree or RN qualification.
• Prior experience conducting on-site monitoring visits.
• Customer service oriented approach.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical monitoring processes, FDA regulations, and ICH guidelines.
• Willingness and ability to travel for site visits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer use, particularly MS Office applications.
