Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team. This hands-on role is suited for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and are dedicated to maintaining top-tier cleanliness and hygiene.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Location: Port Adelaide, South Australia
• Compensation aligned with the Cleaning Award

Primary Duties

• Operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers and buffers safely and effectively
• Oversee, mentor, and provide support to cleaners
• Perform regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleaning standards
• Plan and assign daily tasks and manage team schedules
• Maintain adequate levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Address any issues and customer feedback promptly
• Enforce workplace health and safety protocols

Candidate Profile

• Experience as a cleaning supervisor or team leader
• Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and machinery
• Effective time management and communication capacity
• Availability to work during weekends and public holidays
• Attention to detail with a commitment to high standards

Mandatory Requirements

• Recent Police Check within the last three months
• Valid Australian work rights documentation
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery competently
