About the Role

At Eden Girls' Leadership Academy in Birmingham, the Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment throughout the academy’s facilities. This includes keeping workspaces and storage areas tidy as well as ensuring cleaning equipment and machinery are checked regularly for safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage spaces.
• Regularly inspect and verify safe use of cleaning equipment and machinery, complying with health and safety regulations.
• Provide assistance to staff on cleaning-related tasks within the scope of their training and skills.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is essential.
• Understanding of health and safety risks and precautions relevant to cleaning duties.
• Capability to independently carry out a variety of cleaning tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various individuals.
