Role Overview
We are seeking motivated and dependable cleaners to join our team in Hornby, Christchurch. This role suits individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess keen attention to detail, and enjoy maintaining clean, inviting spaces for our clients and customers.
Working Hours and Compensation
- Part-time shifts available: Saturday to Tuesday, 1:30 AM - 7:15 AM
- Hourly wage: $24.25
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties to a high-quality standard
- Spot cleaning of furnishings
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning toilets
- Collecting rubbish
- Cleaning internal and external glass surfaces
- Dusting all hard surfaces
Candidate Profile
- Prior cleaning experience in a commercial setting is advantageous
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team
- Capable of following instructions and working independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Good understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards
- Willingness to work flexible hours including public holidays when needed
- Experience using floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a bonus
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old due to health and safety requirements
- Strong English speaking and comprehension skills are essential since all communication and training are conducted in English
- Valid work rights in New Zealand are mandatory
