Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to service residential rental properties. The role involves performing cleaning tasks for move-in, move-out, rental turnover, and preparing units for listing readiness. Candidates must be experienced, organized, and capable of working independently while adhering to cleaning checklists and documenting completed work. Identifying property issues requiring follow-up before listing, showings, or tenant move-ins is a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend residential rental properties for scheduled cleaning sessions including move-in/out, turnover, and listing-preparation cleans.
• Perform comprehensive residential cleaning per company standards, covering kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any leftover items as needed.
• Thoroughly wipe down counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean various floor types.
• Clean inside appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when required.
• Identify any areas needing extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-up actions.
• Take clear before-and-after photos and videos documenting the cleaning work completed.
• Submit detailed updates including notes, photos, and videos after each visit.
• Maintain professional communication with landlords, tenants, applicants, and internal staff.
• Follow company instructions, checklists, access protocols, and appointment details accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning roles such as cleaner, housekeeper, or residential cleaning contractor.
• Strong familiarity with residential cleaning procedures and standards.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel between properties.
• Possession of necessary cleaning tools and supplies for appointments.
• Comfortable working independently in residential rental settings.
• Ownership of a smartphone with a high-quality camera (minimum model iPhone 13 or equivalent).
• Ability to capture clear photos and videos of properties and cleaning outcomes.
• Skilled in writing clear reports and notes following each job.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Capable of following detailed checklists, instructions, and property access information.
• Effective and respectful communication with landlords, applicants, tenants, and team members.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience specifically with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
• Background in preparing rental properties for showings, photos, inspections, or tenant move-in.
• Ability to recognize and report property damage, maintenance concerns, junk removal needs, pest issues, access challenges, or safety hazards.
• Experience working independently in the field for property management, leasing, cleaning, or home service companies.
