This freelance project opportunity is part of a platform that brings subject-matter experts into AI initiatives for major technology companies. The work is project-based rather than a permanent job, with a focus on assessing, testing, and refining AI systems.

What you may do on the project
- Review AI-produced auto insurance claim outcomes for correctness, proper coverage interpretation, and adherence to applicable regulations.
- Create FNOL test scenarios that include contradictions, decoy documents, and outdated paperwork to challenge the agent’s resilience.
- Develop and evaluate fraud-detection scenarios using structured reason codes such as late reporting, recently purchased policies, and inconsistent damage for SIU referral testing.
- Prepare subrogation cases using state-by-state negligence frameworks, including comparative and contributory rules, and judge the possible recovery outcome.
- Record test cases in a clear format with correct answers, policy references, and payout computations.

Experience and profile expected
- A degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a similar discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in insurance, claims, legal, or financial services work.
- Recent or current experience in claims handling, adjusting, or a closely related function.
- Practical familiarity with auto insurance coverage decisions, state negligence rules, and the typical authority limits used by adjusters.
- Professional credentials such as AIC, CPCU, CIFI, or SCLA are considered a plus, but they are not mandatory if the candidate has solid hands-on experience.
- Strong English writing ability at C1 level or above.
