Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cross-Class Claims Handler to join our Claims team, delivering exceptional service to our clients. This role involves managing complex insurance claims, particularly in Property and Casualty, through a comprehensive claims process.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full claims lifecycle from initial notification, thorough investigation, to prompt and fair settlements, adhering to policy specifications and company protocols.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and involved parties, providing timely updates, addressing inquiries, and upholding high service standards.
• Ensure precise record-keeping and reporting that comply with legal, regulatory, and company requirements including fraud detection measures and data protection compliance.
• Collaborate with external parties and subject matter experts to evaluate losses and negotiate settlements efficiently.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise managing complex claims across multiple insurance classes, particularly with strong proficiency in Property and Casualty claims.
• Thorough understanding of insurance market dynamics, policy terms, and coverage details.
• Possession of relevant professional qualifications such as Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII), or progress towards such credentials is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric mindset and ability to foster rapport with stakeholders and seek guidance as necessary.
• Exceptional attention to detail, discretion handling sensitive information, and the capacity to maintain professionalism under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual remuneration up to £35,000, commensurate with experience.
• Attractive benefits including 26 days' holiday entitlement, pension scheme, healthcare access, and flexible benefits.
• Hybrid working pattern post-settlement: three days office-based, two days remote.
