Civil Foreman

Role Overview

The Civil Foreman will oversee and coordinate the execution of civil construction tasks ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, quality benchmarks, safety protocols, and project timelines.

Primary Duties

• Manage daily operations of civil construction including blockwork, concrete pouring, plaster application, tiling, waterproofing, and external site works.
• Arrange for labor, materials, machinery, and subcontractor activities to sustain site efficiency.
• Ensure all work is performed according to approved blueprints, technical guidelines, and method statements.
• Inspect workmanship frequently to confirm completed tasks meet established quality standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, and subcontractors in resolving on-site challenges.
• Maintain a safe, well-organized, and effective working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable track record as a Civil Foreman managing construction projects.
• Extensive hands-on understanding of civil construction processes, materials, and final finishing techniques.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings and coordinate various site tasks.
• Proven leadership capabilities with strong communication skills for managing teams effectively.
