Role overview
A fast-scaling AI startup is looking for a Chief Technology Officer to own the engineering function and influence the direction of its enterprise software platform. The company is still early in its journey, but it has already gained traction with major investment firms and built meaningful commercial momentum within its first year.
What you will handle
- Set the long-term technical direction, system design approach, and overall engineering roadmap.
- Grow and lead the engineering team while staying actively involved in hands-on development.
- Architect AI-driven document intelligence tools, workflow automation products, and enterprise data infrastructure.
- Work closely with enterprise clients to resolve complex product and technical issues.
- Hire, coach, and develop a strong engineering team as the organization expands.
Background expected
- Experience taking products from concept to launch in a startup or other high-growth setting.
- Prior or current experience as a CTO, Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, or other senior technical leader with strong depth in engineering.
- Practical experience building production-grade systems using Python and TypeScript/React; Go experience is an advantage.
- Proven ability to shape technical architecture, guide engineering strategy, and scale teams.
- Entrepreneurial thinking with the ability to operate both as an executive and as a hands-on builder.
