Role Overview

As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will spearhead the overall cyber security strategy that guards digital assets, protects customer data, and secures continuous operations across every facet of the organisation. The position requires strategic development and practical implementation of security policies in tune with rapid digital expansion, complex franchise frameworks, and critical supply chain considerations. Success will be evaluated by lower risk profiles, swift and effective incident containment, and the assurance provided to senior leadership regarding the security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and operationalise an enterprise-wide cyber security strategy and roadmap, tailored to the company’s evolving needs.
• Deliver regular risk assessments, reporting progress and ongoing threats to the Board, Audit Committee, and C-suite executives.
• Take ownership of incident response and crisis management, ensuring swift action to safeguard digital operations.
• Fortify security standards for third-party relationships and integrate robust protection throughout the supply chain.
• Lead security governance, policy development, and regulatory compliance efforts company-wide.
• Advance security capabilities in innovative areas including AI adoption, cloud infrastructure, and operational technology (OT) risk management.
• Embed security controls within digital channels, products, and franchise operations to support business growth in a secure manner.

Essential Requirements

• Significant experience serving as a CISO or similar role within a complex, consumer-facing business environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in presenting cyber risk and mitigation strategies to Boards and Audit Committees.
• Commercial insight with the ability to express technical security concerns in business-oriented language.
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly PCI DSS, GDPR, and NIS2.
• Background in managing security operations, disaster recovery/incident response, and third-party/vendor risk.
• Proficiency in influencing executive-level stakeholders across varied business domains and regions.
• Relevant industry certifications (such as CISSP, CISM), with a preference given to candidates holding these accreditations.
• Hands-on experience with operational technology (OT) and securing complex supply chains is highly valued.
