Chief Administrative Officer

About the Role

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) participates as a key member of the senior executive team, reporting directly to the CEO. This role involves leading and coordinating all administrative and operational functions within the organization, ensuring these support the mission and strategic goals effectively. The CAO is accountable for the oversight of areas including facilities, security, transportation, land and agricultural management, environmental compliance, safety protocols, risk management, and property development at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and operational guidance to the CEO on infrastructure and resource planning.
• Oversee all administrative and operational support functions organization-wide to align with mission objectives.
• Design and enforce policies and procedures that promote operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory adherence.
• Lead long-term infrastructure planning to accommodate program expansion and capacity building.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, facilities management, public administration, organizational leadership, or a related discipline is required.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.
• At least ten years of experience in senior executive or leadership roles within operations, administration, or facilities management.
• Proven track record managing diverse operational areas in large or complex entities.
• Preferred experience includes property management, land stewardship, infrastructure projects, or capital development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and oversee cross-departmental operational systems.
