The successful candidate will support smooth kitchen operations by adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and cleaning protocols while maintaining flexibility according to business and personal needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the receiving and storage of food deliveries, promptly ensuring proper handling and temperature checks comply with food safety standards.
• Complete daily and weekly deep cleaning tasks as outlined in the cleaning schedule and document completion accordingly.
• Ensure proper date and day labelling is applied following guidelines set by the Head Chef.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, applying a 'clean as you go' method consistently.
• Monitor the inventory of clean crockery and utensils to guarantee sufficient stock for effective kitchen functioning.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a 4-star hotel environment is preferred but not required, as full training will be offered.
• Strong communication skills combined with a positive and energetic approach.
• The role involves standing for extended periods, so physical fitness is important.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
