Key Responsibilities
- Politely welcome each customer.
- Process purchase transactions efficiently, ensuring proper deactivation of merchandise under the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program.
- Promote company programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable efforts.
- Assist customers in bagging and loading their purchases.
- Follow safety procedures including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Secure cashier operations through careful money handling, strict adherence to company policies, and situational awareness.
- Direct customers to a Customer Service Manager for relevant service or transactional needs.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.75.
