Cash Management Trainer

About the Role

Ventra Health is looking for an experienced Cash Management Trainer to join our team in Coimbatore. This role focuses on educating payment posting specialists, refunds and credits specialists, and bank reconciliation specialists on US healthcare payment processes and revenue cycle management. The ideal candidate will bring a thorough knowledge of cash handling within the US medical billing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed training curricula covering US healthcare payment processes such as electronic 835s, manual payer EOBs, insurance allowances, patient payments, denials, adjustments, contractual allowances, recoupments, credit balances, forward balancing, and bank reconciliation.
• Deliver engaging training sessions both in-person and virtually, ensuring materials are current and meet industry standards.
• Assess training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance data; update programs to stay aligned with healthcare industry developments.
• Act as a subject matter expert on cash management practices across multiple specialties including anesthesia, emergency department, and radiology, adhering to applicable US healthcare regulations and client needs.
• Provide continuous mentorship and support to trainees, helping them apply knowledge confidently while addressing any challenges professionally.
• Collaborate with HR, compliance, and operations teams to align training strategies with overall organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field required; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in US medical billing and a minimum of 2 years in training roles with expertise in cash management, payment posting, and credit balance handling.
• Willingness to travel to various service delivery locations as necessary.
