Carpenter

Role Overview

This full-time position is based in our High Wycombe modular building facility located in Perth, Western Australia. Working within a factory setting, the role involves framing, fit-out, and assembly tasks that are essential to bringing modular construction projects to fruition. You'll collaborate closely with a tight-knit team, adhering strictly to safety guidelines, quality standards, and production goals, witnessing projects come together from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble building components such as flooring, wall framing, roof trusses, windows, doors, and exterior cladding.
• Set levels and align building elements accurately as per construction drawings and project specifications.
• Construct supplementary structures including stairs, ramps, eaves, and partition walls.
• Support coworkers and laborers to aid in efficient project advancement and timely completion.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, modifications, and rectifications to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Operate carpentry tools and equipment proficiently and safely.
• Comply with all workplace safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment, and uphold health and safety policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent practical experience.
• At least two years of experience in a similar carpentry role.
• Possession of a White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Valid Australian Driver’s License.
• Good knowledge of the building and construction industry standards and practices.
