Position Overview
Richmond Villages in Northampton is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join their team. The role involves delivering personalized, high-quality care to residents in a luxurious retirement community, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.
Key Duties
- Provide comprehensive clinical, social, and emotional support tailored to the individual needs of residents.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls or resident requests, evaluating situations and involving senior staff when necessary.
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and washing according to care plans.
- Support residents with mobility challenges, including safe transfers and the management of personal aids and equipment.
- Offer companionship and personal care suited to diverse resident requirements.
- Collaborate as part of a team to monitor residents’ wellbeing and report any changes to senior care staff.
- Communicate effectively with residents’ families, friends, and healthcare professionals.
- Complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, funded by the employer, given the vulnerability of the residents served.

Work Schedule and Location
